A Space to Feel Safe
A calm and supportive environment where children can feel comfortable, accepted and understood.
Little Safe Space is a planned specialist early years provision for autistic children and children with additional needs, including those who are waiting for an assessment, aged 18 months to 5 years.
Every child is different. We want children and families to feel welcomed, understood and supported from the very beginning.
A calm and supportive environment where children can feel comfortable, accepted and understood.
Sensory activities, structured play and opportunities to explore at each child's own pace.
Respecting children's individual ways of communicating, expressing themselves and connecting.
Recognising and celebrating every child's strengths, interests and support needs.
Little Safe Space is being developed as a small, nurturing early years provision for autistic children and children with additional needs, including children awaiting assessment.
Our planned activities will focus on:
We understand that finding the right environment for your child can feel overwhelming. Our aim is to create a welcoming, understanding space where children can explore, play and be supported as individuals—and where families feel listened to and respected.
We are preparing to develop a specialist early years provision and are interested in hearing from people with relevant early years, SEND and leadership experience.
Our team will be built around children's safety, dignity, communication and individual needs.
